well...
friday was new years eve. i didnt enjoy it as much as i should have, mostly cuz i was disgustingly sick (no, not from drinking). I left pauls house like shortly before 1, came home, and vomited for the next 8 hours, along with other lovely things including severe dehydration, hyperventilationg, numbness to my extremities, and other things im not going to get into here. They made me go to the hospital where they hooked me up to IVs and all sorts of awesome stuff and now im getting better, and i can almost eat solid foods. thats pretty nice since my diet of gatorade, chicken broth, and jello was starting to get really boring. yeah thats it. not enough energy to talk more right now

well everyone else seems to be posting their weekend schedule for some reason so ill do it too.
friday: work, then getting my drink on at fiddys house friday night
saturday: one of 4 people representing East Brunswick in a bigtime tournament in brick.
sunday: going shopping with kari at short hills, and then later in the afternoon hanging out with vicky for a while.
summary: dinking, chilling, playing big tourhey, shopping, kari, vicky.

man i love my past, and i have had so much fun my whole life..like especially the past lets say 5 years.
BUT
when i think about my high school years and things like that i cant help but be filled with so many regrets. i think sometimes that the things i wish i did overshadow the things that i did do. there are so many things that when i think about i would have done differently..the girl i would have gone after, the test i would have studied for, the kid i wouldnt have made fun of, maybe the kid i should have made fun of more. im not really going to get into specifics.
but the thing that i dont like is that i dont know how to ensure that this sort of thing doesnt happen anymore. people always say live for the moment if you are trying to pursue happiness. but i have always tried to do that and i think that might be one of my biggest regrets sometimes. i just do what feels right at the time and i dont take into consideration the possible repercussions. but sometimes, im TOO cautious. thats been true sometimes in particular with girls..i take things too slow and i lose my opportunities. there are actually two that stand out in my mind and i think abuot fairly often..how i wish i had pursued things differntly back in high school. wait scratch that...THREE. so its like when i live for the moment i regret it. and when i dont live for the moment, i regret that too. and it gets to the point that the more i think about life the less i know what to do with it. For being a kid who tries to have all the answers to everything, i wish i could answer my own stuff.
The scary thing is that if i had it to do over again i dont know what i would do. they say hindsight is 20/20 but retrospectively all i know is that im not happy with things. i dont know how i would even correct them if i had the opportunity. and i dont see any of these tendancies changing because like i said neither way seems to work..live for the moment and its not good, and try to be cautious and it doesnt work either

holy shit man
this weekend was amazing.
Friday at around 6:25, don picked me up in the hummer. To me, the hummer is like a good omen, cuz i love that beast. so we get down to monmouth at around 7:15, even though wes is working until 10. we hung out with JD who is an awesome kid, playing some video games and drinking some chilling beers. Then wes got back, brought us some taco bell, we hung out, had some more beers, and played some more games. Then we went to the radio station, and wes put us on air where we talked about stuff and they gave me free tickets to alexisonfire.we went back to wes's room following his show, and thats when things went crazy.
Wes wanted to see the smoke bomb in action. so he takes one, lights it, and throws it down the hall of his dorm. They wont let me go out into the hall to look, but i look out the peephole and i didnt see anthing amiss. so i go back and sit down and next thing i know the fire alarm is going off with this voice over a loudspeaker telling us to immediatly evacuate the building. I grab a hoodie of wes's since its cold outside, put my hands in the pockets, and what do i find? another smoke bobs. so i run back, and throw it in wes's underwear drawer. then we al stood outside amidst people freaking out that there was a real fire and they saw the smoke, and all their stuff was going to burn. mind you this was at 3 in the morning. so eventually they let us in, we hang out for a little while, then pass out..me on their stolen couch, and don on the floor, wes and JD in their respective beds. o yeah we played cards that night too tho i dont remember when
Saturday: We awoke at around 10:30. rolled on over to dunkin donuts, and picked up breakfast. got back to the room at like 1130. started drinking. blasting terible music, and hnaving singalongs. you could hear the nsync, journey, etc...whatever we could find, from like the enterance to the dorm. it was great. so we got blasted in the room, then went tailgating. awesome. there was a big fight, and we got burgers, and empinadas, and i met a lot of awesome kids since wes is friends with everyone. had more beers, ran into bauer, riccio, wheringer. drank some more, went back to the room with jd since we couldnt find wes. hung out, drank some more, got some pizzas..then somehow all of us passed out at the exact same time together..me, wes, don, erin, and jd. we slept from like 530 till like 830. bauer stopped by, and we had this crazy pizza box fight..me, wes, JD, bauer going nuts. all hell broke loose. wes started punching people (like JD) in the balls. then don hit wes. wes his don, jd, hit wes, wes hit jd, i sat in the corner and watched. played some more cards, some more video games, and drank some more. im forgetting a lot because of all of the drinking. then we all went to eventually, and don and i came back sunday morning. the end.
